Introduction

In this section, you will find answers to CPD questions that have been frequently asked by pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Since January 2005 pharmacists and pharmacy technicians have made an annual declaration when registering stating their compliance with the Code of Ethics requirement to maintain a CPD record.

On 1st March 2009 the Society introduced Standards and Guidance for CPD under the Code of Ethics for pharmacists and registered pharmacy technicians together with a policy for managing non-compliance with the CPD requirement through the non-referral process. According to Standard 1.5, Pharmacists and registered pharmacy technicians must submit their CPD records to the Society on request.
